Our Story:
1978 – Founded as Africa Link Ltd by Frank Atkinson & Jaap Vos, selling trucks & machinery to West Africa.
1985 – Our first Unimog sale—through a small ad in Farmers Weekly!
1991 – Operations consolidated in High Bentham.
1998 – Expansion begins with the purchase of additional land.
2000 – Unimog accessories range launched—constantly expanded ever since.
2001 – Simon Ward joins as salesman & workshop coordinator. Business renamed Atkinson Vos Ltd.
2002 – New workshop & offices built.
2008 – Became an agent for Mitas tyres.
2009 – Succession plan devised for Simon to take over the business.
2010 – 1,000th Unimog sold—a 1992 U1750!
2014 – Workshop expanded.
2015 – Dedicated parts dispatch area created.
2020 – In-house Design Engineering Department established.
2024 – Facilities upgraded to enhance customer vehicle storage.
2025 – Launch of Atkinson Vos Signature Series camper boxes & torsion-free subframes.
